Friendly AGM Reminder

Saturday 16 November at 1pm in the club rooms.

Please remember to come along and cast your vote to elect a incoming committee and pass an important Special Resolution. Details of the resolution has been distributed to all members and copies are available in the club rooms.

All financial members are required to attend. If, for some reason, you cannot attend please complete a Proxy Voting Form and arrange for another member to cast your votes for you.

An important Special Resolution will be voted on at this meeting, as well as voting for the Committee for the coming 12 months and we need our members there to take part.

Please note:   Junior, Associate and Magazine Members DO NOT have voting rights in our club. Full Financial Members need to have paid fees for the coming year before the meeting. If you have not paid your yearly fees you cannot vote, nor can you use the workshops as you are not covered by our insurance policy if your fees are in arrears.
We look forward to seeing you all at the meeting.

Welcome to our new Members

Hello new Members. We are excited to have you as part of our membership. We’re a friendly bunch here at MLC, so don’t hesitate to introduce yourself and to ask questions. Please make yourself known to the Duty Officer when you attend the club rooms. When you first arrive you will receive an orientation by a Duty Officer on the proper and safe use of the workshop equipment prior to its use. Please remember, whenever you are working in the workshop, you need to wear protective equipment for eyes and ears and make sure that you are always wearing appropriate footwear and tie long hair back. If in doubt at any stage, always check with the Duty Officer.
