About Us

Can your club members cut a gemstone or repair jewellery for me?

We do not cut gemstones, make jewellery or do repairs for the general public.
Our club is for hobbyists to develop and pursue their craft.
We are a non-for-profit organisation, and do not offer services to the general public.

Can I make a donation to your club?

If you have rocks, minerals, gems, machinery or publications that you would like donate to our club - we are usually happy to accept donations but please email us to discuss prior to visiting the club. 

Do you conduct field trips?

Yes, we do! We run field trip for Mordialloc Gem Club members.
Please visit or email our club for an updated list of fossicking adventures. You must be a member of the club to attend our fossicking trips for insurance purposes.

Can children join?

Children aged 10 - 16 years can join FREE as part of a parent’s membership and are very welcome at our club.

Children must attend with a parent, grandparent, or guardian. Our club is family friendly and all instructors have valild Working With Children Checks.
